High School Engineering Intern

Geosyntec ha s an exciting opportunity for a part-time High School Engineering Intern in our Kennesaw or Atlanta, GA office. The position offers the opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world situations in support of a variety of project delivery needs including contaminated site investigations, soil and groundwater remediation, and remedial system design. The position is part-time for approximately 13 to 15 weeks during the fall semester of 2026 or spring/summer of 2027. Preferred candidates would have the ability to return to the position for up to two additional semester rotations during their undergraduate studies. Candidates are responsible for coordinating their own transportation to and from the office. Learn more by visiting www.geosyntec.com Essential Duties And Responsibilities Assist in engineering calculations using computer-based technical tools; Assist in report and proposal preparation; Data input and analyses; Follow instructions and interact with engineers, geologists, office administrative staff, CADD operators (draftsmen), contractors and construction personnel; and Develop an understanding of the consulting profession. Education and Licensure Currently registered as a student in a local area high school. (required) Career focus areas in civil, geotechnical, environmental or water resources engineering. (required) Skills, Experience And Qualifications Outstanding academic credentials and exceptional interpersonal, writing, and problem-solving skills.
